The nature of this species are small air sacs surrounding the roots.  It allows this conifer to grow in enviroments usually reserved for under suface plants.  This tree provides shade and nutrients for a multitude of aquatic creatures.

It is the only one in this locale and appears in December with luminescent silica spheres and metallic garland.
