Jersey is famous in the NE part of the USA for their tomatoes, I pass a lot of farms growing them. This is early in the season and what is being supplied is greenhouse grown. They are nearly all a uniform size, same color, with no flaws.
Some people it seems are able to discern minute differences and will spend quite some time perusing through the baskets to find the perfect collection. Though the price was inexpensive, perhaps it seems even a better deal to feel confident that the premier pail was picked. I am sure the man pictured felt that way after spending the time he did. Quite a trophy.
