It is Memorial Day here in the United States, the original intent of its inception was to remember the dead soldiers of World War II.  To honor of this, the retail shops have offered their merchandise at substantial savings, barraging the media with a blitz of advertising requiriing my newspaper service a supplemental delivery.

Seems that these two people broke from the holiday festivities of shopping at a nearby discount mall and took occassion to marvel at the phrenetic buying activities before them.  Their display of  the national colors, red, white and blue provides an appropriate backdrop to the holiday.

The recycler will have a good haul of newspaper this week.
