Just over the barrier on my entrance way to the Betsy Ross Bridge I notice heat waves distorting the view of this bridge and some of the other structures adjoining the Delaware River.  I stepped out of my truck onto a narrow shoulder in the midst of rush hour traffic to see the cause of this and see if I could show you.  Seems that these chimneys spurt flames in random succession for no reason I can explain.

It was worth the stop.
