A train station on the eastern corridor, Suburban Station.  It is located in an area of Philadelphia boasting some top rate architecture, mostly around the University of Pennsylvania.  There are two Frank Furness buildings which I am particularly fond of.

Turning around reveals a more modernist bend to most of the newer construction being built in the last twenty years.  There used to be a city ordinance against building above the hat of the William Penn statue on top of city hall. The reversal of this resulted in a new skyline.

Seems a shame in one sense, less light illuminating the city streets and glass replacing quite a lot of old stone work.  Looks a bit like a city now.
