As a contrast to the picture yesterday, here is a building that the skin has been stripped off, revealing a circular staircase and Camden New Jersey across the Delaware river.  It has been in this state of demolition for quite a long time.  Looks quite nice in this state of disrepair, but strange that it had been this way for this long on what I would imagine would be a prime bit of real estate.

There has been talk of riverboat gambling coming to Philadelphia which will change the facade of this river radically.  I predict it will not be to my liking.  It will replace these half demolished structures for something that might represent Las Vegas.  An alternate veiw of progress.
