The consumate 'summer in the city' photograph.  Temperature in the nineties, farenheit that is, and the construction workers chose a spot in the shade for a lunch break.  No hurry to get across the street it seems.  We are all awaiting the arrival of hurricane 'Bonnie' which should break this weather. At this point it is still out to sea.

Evacuation of the coast of the Carolinas has begun.  The excitement may turn to regret.
