It is a good time to relax while your car is being searched- or maybe it isn't.

 Here in the land of the free it is legal for the police to search a vehicle for any driving infraction of the law- speeding, running a stop sign, out of date inspection, etc.  This was instituded at the beginning of the great drug paranoia and shows our willingness  of giving up rights of privacy.

I think it is a priority thing.
